Soil Renewal

Hemp is a very hardy, and can be planted in low- nutrient soil. It can send taproots deep into the soil, reducing the need of frequent watering. Hemp is especially good for the soil because it does not require pesticides and suppresses the growth of most weeds. Hemp leaves return nitrogen back to the soil, converting nitrogen fertilizer into organically bound nitrogen, improving soil fertility. Hemp can be used to reduce cyst nematodes, a soy decimating parasite, without the use of chemicals by being rotated with soy plants.
